Minimal Piano

From time to time, I enjoy minimal music. Steve Reich and Simeon Ten Holt are among my favorites. So, I decided to give it a try myself—after all, isn’t minimal music essentially just the repetition of patterns? Well, not exactly, but that was my approach back around 2010. In any case, it’s minimal. It’s piano. At the end, I’ve included an announcement—recordered from a classical radio station—regarding a piece of music that was, presumably, contemporary. Here is the translation:
“Perhaps you are wondering: is this Mahlerian Romanticism in a loop, a chromatic jest, or perhaps the rebirth of so-called ‘accessible music’—following all the serial and pointillist intensity of the avant-garde from the sixties?”
I have no idea what he’s talking about, but I found it very fitting.
