Volatile sound-waves that got stuck
Text fragments are random pieces of text, without any context that are often very remarkable. Most were recorded during scavenger hunts on international radio stations. You often come across the craziest statements! Often you wouldn’t pay special attention to them, but because they are captured here and supplemented with my sound loops, I feel they start to lead a life of their own. “Volatile sound waves, that got stuck.”

This is just a snippet of text picked up from the radio. It’s in Chinese. When I hold the original sound recording in front of Google translate it is recognized as “Zhè zhŏng xiànxiàng shì méiyŏu de”, with is translated as “This phenomenon does not exist”.
I don’t know if that’s correct, but that would be a nice catch!
This man is calling a number. The sound below is also a somewhat vague accumulation of samples. But it doesn’t always have to be about something, does it?

Translation:

I’m a bit ambivalent about this one. This is Evil personified. But I just can’t understand how a joke can spiral into a full-blown hate campaign within two sentences.
The speech’s sound is terrifying, fascinating, and with the cheering, mind-blowing. I put some cheesy music under it, because what the heck are you even doing with this?
